January 22 National Day of Prayer Did you know that in Dioceses throughout the United States, January 22 is designated as a Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Human Life? As individuals, we are called to observe this day through the penitential practices of prayer, fasting and/or giving alms, in a way similar to our Lenten practices.
